Antigone has lost everything. Her father, the infamous Oedipus, is dead, as is her mother, Jocasta, who killed herself. Now her two brothers are dead too, having killed one another in battle over the city of Thebes. All she wants is to take her brother Polynices' body and bury it properly, but Creon, the ruler of the city, will not let her show respect to a traitor. What follows is a clash between two unrelenting people championing different viewpoints: the laws of the gods and the laws of men. But one of them has the power of life and death over everyone in the city...
